The ecology of The Dovecote is our primary focus after our residents.
Remit:
- Oversee ecological preservation, biodiversity goals, and green space maintenance.
- Develop and implement environmental strategies (e.g., wildflower areas, tree planting, pond management).
- Liaise with ecological consultants or local authorities as needed.
- Educate and engage residents on sustainability and conservation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with ecological covenants or planning obligations (e.g., S106 agreements).
Specifics in respect to handover/transition:
- Baseline Ecological Audit: Works with new Managing Agent to get an up-to-date ecological status report of the estate (especially if there are ponds, wild areas, or protected habitats).
- Monitoring of Covenants: Ensures Developer obligations on green space delivery or mitigation areas have been fulfilled before handover is complete.
