At The Dovecote ManCo, our role is to look after the communal spaces, services, and standards that help keep our estate a pleasant, safe, and well-maintained place to live.
Our goal is simple: to protect and enhance the value of our shared spaces — today and for the future.
Although The Dovecote ManCo owns the land, we manage it on behalf of residents and our community needs to be confident in our ability to protect our local environment. So, what are we responsible for?
Maintaining Shared Areas
We oversee the upkeep of:
- Public open spaces
- Play areas and communal green zones
- Balancing ponds
- Public art installations
- Shared verges, paths, and planting schemes
Appointing Contractors
We work with our Managing Agent and service providers to:
- Maintain the communal landscaping, including the grass, trees, shrubs and hedges
- Maintain the effectiveness of the balancing ponds
- Repair and replace assets when needed
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of contracted works
Managing Budgets
We collaborate with our Managing Agent to:
- Set annual service charge budgets
- Review actual spend against forecasts
- Ensure funds are used fairly and transparently
Upholding Covenants
We help ensure all residents comply with the covenants in the TP1 or Lease — protecting the look and feel of the estate for the benefit of everyone.
Working with Residents
We act on feedback, respond to enquiries, and aim to support all residents in understanding how the estate is managed.
